On the 13th March, Starbucks roadblocked the evening ad breaks with a charming new 60” animated TV spot promoting the offer of a free latte for those people who come in and introduce themselves. This is part of a drive to get the UK back on first name terms, and writing people’s names on the cups is a small gesture to that end.
Supporting the TV on 13th and 14th March were a series of press ads which saw our message charmingly conveyed through illustrations on Starbucks cups.
