Defining the 'Future of Digital' for Dixons

How will digital technologies change the face of retail? That’s the question we were asked by Dixons for their PC World and Currys brands. Given the pace of digital change, we realised that Dixons needed to a ‘twin track’ path to the future - a ‘big picture vision’ to inform strategic decisions and a set of basic operational principles to inform immediate activity now.

We analysed the drivers shaping the future of retail, the needs of always-on consumers and the evolving impact of social media to define the omni-channel ‘future of retail’ and a clear set of guiding principles and working prototypes to provide practical steps. Dixons have adopted the principles and are working with our vision for the future.
