Neil's career in Marketing started in the challenging world of Government advertising. Neil then made the leap into advertising agencies, from Amiratti Puris Lintas to DMB&B and then Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/ Y&R, where he worked on Ford in its advertising glory days (Steve McQueen and Dennis Hopper).
Neil then spent three years at WWAV Rapp Collins as Managing Partner. In between his agency experience Neil has extensive consultancy and client experience.
In his three years at Billington Cartmell, Neil has built a planning team focused on three things: bringing together the pragmatic and commercial approach that 'make brands matter' and focuses on ideas in their broadest sense, an understanding of the power of integrated marketing and building specialist planning expertise around audiences and areas such as social media and shopper marketing. Outside the agency Neil keeps three hives of happy bees and runs marathons, although never in the same day.
