The Challenge
Engaging in-bar events that aims to recruit the next generation of spirit drinkers into a long-term relationship with Bacardi.
The Solution
To drive engagement in-bar there is a two player gaming platform that allows data capture and prizing, We incorporated Bacardi's rich cocktail heritage to educate consumers to the original Bacardi Mojito, Pina Colada and Cuba Libre.
We created two potential solutions to provide local markets with flexibility:
-A Facebook tab to enable consumers to filter event destinations, drive photo tagging and enter the online competition;
- A program with no Facebook tab where reach is driven through Facebook event ads, check in deals and wall posts.
On Facebook the programme has three phases: pre, during, and post, which all drive people to Facebook.com/Bacardi, where they will be encouraged to engage with our community, invite themselves to events and tag event photos.
