Helping Tomorrow Take Shape

Client: Office for National Statistics
Brand: 2011 Census

Oliver Doerle, Census Head of Marketing, commented: “Working on such a complex project requires an experienced agency that can hit the ground running. Bray Leino has been integral in bringing together a number of partners and specialists to collaborate on the marketing communications programme and deliver the best possible solution for us both creatively and strategically.”

The Result

The first release of census population estimates is scheduled for July 2012 but Glen Watson, 2011 Census Director, has given a positive headline message: “I am confident that we have achieved a response rate of 94 per cent nationally and over 80 per cent in every local authority. Across London, the estimated response rate in most London boroughs is between 5 and 15 percentage points better than in 2001, and across the capital as a whole I am also confident we have reached a response rate of over 90 per cent.”
