Cake has run all press activity around the V Festival for over a decade.
Working closely with V Festival organisers, our brief is: to raise awareness of the V Festival brand, to generate positive coverage in the run-up to the festival and over the weekend, to manage all communication of V Festival’s name and associated branding and naming to all media, and to run a fully-functioning press office at both sites throughout the weekend.
We work hard to find every newsworthy angle around the UK’s most popular festival, and leverage our longstanding relationahips with national and regional media to drive positive coverage around the annual event. Social events with key regional media pre-festival, feature generation and placement of interview opportunities form just one part of what we do.
As well as handling the PR for V Festival we also Executive Produce the broadcasts, overseeing the Channel 4 commission and international syndication rights management.
