David Haggerty

David Haggerty

Head of Planning

Having joined in July 2014, David comes with 8 years marketing experience, most recently holding the position of Strategy Director for Carat Scotland; where he was part of the management board and led the Insight and Planning team.

An active member of the marketing community, David has sat on the IPA Digital Steering Group and spoken at industry events hosted by the IPA, Quality Meat Scotland, NHS Scotland and most recently at the 2014 TTRA Annual International Conference (Travel & Tourism Research Association).

David often finds himself in the depths of spreadsheets, market reports, customer research and client data; trying to unpick and identify key actionable insights to drive a strategic recommendation.

While involved in the day to day planning, David’s principal focus is on strategic intelligence. Applying his expertise to clients during times of business transformation, or immersing himself at the beginning of a new client relationship, David strives to fully understand the ins and outs of the client business model, objectives and proposition. His skillset ensures that our solution is perfectly aligned to clients’ business strategies, delivering value and success for our clients.

Some of David’s highlights have been the work he’s done on Bet365 (developing consumer insight and marketing strategy for their bingo proposition), VisitScotland (delivering a long term data capture strategy that improved CPA efficiency and in turn freed up budget for reinvestment in brand activity), and VisitCalifornia (working in conjunction with multiple international markets to deliver a single global segmentation and communications strategy alignment).
