Endsleigh Appoints Kindred For Brief To Connect With Teachers

25 May, 2011 - Source: Kindred

Endsleigh, the specialist insurance provider, has appointed Kindred to deliver a major new campaign to raise awareness of the wide range of insurance packages specifically created for teachers and education professionals.

The three month campaign will include a search to find Britain’s Most Adventurous Staffroom.  The nationwide competition will ask school staffrooms to submit content showing what they get up to in their spare time. Examples could range from enjoyable holidays, the exploration of new places, extreme and diverse activity pursuits or home restoration projects.

Vicki O’Connell Endsleigh Communication Manager said: “We already work closely with unions NASUWT and UCU and part of our heritage lies in offering great insurance products to those working in education. We felt that Kindred’s demonstrable knowledge of the education sector, how quickly they understood our brief and the creativity of a very personable team really shone through. Endsleigh thought the  Britain’s Most Adventurous Staff room was a great way of connecting with teachers across the UK and showcasing how our insurance offering backs them up in whatever they choose to do outside the classroom. ”

Clare Richardson, Client Service Director at Kindred said: “Kindred has had a lot of success in running campaigns targeting education professionals in the past, so we’re looking forward to helping Endsleigh build brand affinity with teachers. Our creative ideas centered on the overarching idea that Endsleigh really understands teachers and provided products that take care of them.  Britain’s Most Adventurous Staffroom is all about showcasing teachers in a fun and adventurous light and celebrating the things they get up too in their limited down time - everything from intrepid trips abroad to incredible hobbies and extreme DIY. If you know any adventurous teachers, get them to enter!”

Originally founded in 1965 to serve the student market, Endsleigh has since broadened its products and services for graduates and professionals, as well as being the preferred insurance supplier for a variety of trade unions and professional organisations. The company offers a wide range of services including motor, home and travel insurance. Endsleigh continues to work with Luther Pendragon, which handles the company’s financial services’.
