The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) have launched a new campaign to help consumers save money by switching energy suppliers.
Created by Kindred, the “Power to Switch” highlights that many households can save around £200, and some even more. The integrated campaign includes a 30” TV ad, posters, press and digital advertising - all developed and launched within 8 weeks from winning the pitch.
“The campaign highlights that millions have switched and saved big money in the process”, said Andy Ravan, Managing Partner at Kindred. “The Power to Switch dramatises these benefits in a simple, clear and engaging way.”
“DECC explained that they wanted something which would make the reforms they have made to the energy market real for domestic energy consumers. Essentially they wanted to get across that it’s now quicker and easier to switch thanks to a more competitive market which is benefiting consumers.”
Kindred previously worked with DECC on the Green Deal campaign. The agency also works with the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills on the Business is GREAT campaign and the Department for Education on First 4 Adoption.
The advertising campaign launches on 19th February and runs until late March.
