We’re pleased to announce that M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment were presented with the award for Sport Agency of the Year at the Sport Industry Awards, 2012. It is the fourth time in five years that they’ve been awarded the prize and is arguably the most competitive year to date.
The team at Sport & Ents were in the running for five awards and went home with a tidy hat-trick. They also received awards for Best Sponsorship of a Sport Event or Competition with the Secret Cricketer for Natwest, as well as Best International Sport Marketing Campaign for Castrol EDGE Presents Ronaldo Tested To The Limit.
Steve Martin, CEO was delighted – ‘we’re thrilled to have won all three awards – particularly Sport Agency of the Year. We have a wonderful team full of extraordinarily talented people and it’s brilliant to have their work rewarded. We’re over the moon.’
Other agencies shortlisted in the category were H+K Strategies, IMG Consulting, Octagon UK, Pitch, and Synergy – all excellent contenders.

What with this being an epic year for sport, the team are planning on pushing the boundaries even further in 2012. Much like the athletes they work with, the guys at Sports & Ents are already looking to beat their PB. Exciting times lay in store.
