Ric started his career at McCann’s media arm and became the strategy advisor and project lead for some of the agency’s key clients including Sainsbury’s Bank & SSL.
He was involved in establishing and maintaining digital marketing programmes with varying objectives ranging from building brand awareness and perception to direct response through digital channels.
He was then recruited to establish and run Zed Digital in New Zealand and Ric worked with the Managing Partners to create a team of 6 digital media specialists.
The team delivered complex digital solutions to clients across New Zealand and Australia and Zed Digital’s client base grew to include HP, Qantas, L’Oreal, TVNZ, National Australia Bank, Citibank, Panasonic & Nestle. Returning to the UK in 2008, Ric joined McCann as the Digital Integration Director, a role that capitalises on his combined digital media and creative experience to ensure that clients are receiving truly tailored and integrated digital solutions.
He now runs McCann Digital’s Technical Centre and is responsible for the output and direction of this operation and its role within McCann’s overall digital development.
