After graduating with a BA Hons in Business Studies in 1987, Jonathan joined an advertising agency group working on various accounts including Wedgwood, Seagram and Greene King before joining McCann in 1990 as an Account Director responsible for clients including British Airways, Tuborg and P&O European Ferries. Whilst at McCann London he was the Group Director responsible for Nestlé Foods, Charles Schwab and American Express.
After a three year international spell with MRM EMEA, running regional clients including General Motors Europe and MasterCard International, Jonathan moved to McCann Manchester in 1998.
As Executive Director he heads up various agency functions including overall Account Management, Relationship Marketing, Data and PR and is responsible for the agency’s largest international clients including UPS and InterContinental Hotels Group.
Jonathan also represents the UM (media) and MRM (digital & relationship marketing) resources for the London 2012 Games and sits on the McCann Worldgroup leadership team for LOCOG.
Living in London Jonathan splits his time between the two McCann locations.
