Our client, Lifes2Good, is enjoying fantastic results from a TV campaign aimed to generate sales via Boots. The product is Micro Pedi. It is a premium priced product which gets rid of hard skin aimed at both users and the Christmas Gift market. The product launched in Boots on 10th November 2011 so they asked us to come up with a lightweight plan that would support sales and drive people into Boots. We planned a daytime only campaign running for 3 weeks (14th Nov – 4th Dec, 09:00-19:00) on a number of key satellite stations that we know respond well for DRTV clients. The campaign has worked really well – lots of extra traffic to their website and lots of sales in Boots. So well in fact that Boots have asked them to extend the campaign, even though they are at risk of selling out! As a result, we have now extended the campaign to run up until 16th Dec to get the most out of the Christmas gift market. So, even in these times of gloom, it shows that a strong proposition allied to great media planning and buying still gets results!
