Isuzu Motors Ltd. is a Japanese commercial vehicle, heavy truck and car manufacturing company, headquartered in Tokyo. Subaru are also Japanese, and have been building cars since the mid-50s, seeing mainstream success from the mid 90s onwards. There are over 200 Isuzu and Subaru dealers in the UK. Palmer Hargreaves has been working with Isuzu and Subaru for over 12 years. We devise all the dealer marketing and national brochure activity. This involves all above the line activity through to dealer direct mail/direct marketing/event marketing, dealership PoS and dealership literature. We have created an online dealer marketing system and run/develop this on their behalf.
What was the challenge?
To improve the relationship between manufacturers and dealers as well as between dealers and the customer. The client also wanted a system that would increase buy in from dealers in terms of implementing their own sales & marketing materials.
What was the connection?
Palmer Hargreaves created, designed and hosted a bespoke dealer website which can be accessed by all Subaru and Isuzu dealers as the main repository for all dealer marketing materials. This adds the dealers details to relevant material using their unique log in allowing them to set collateral and sales materials into a variety of sizes, with editable fields on certain pieces.
What were the results?
The client saw 100% engagement from dealers since the launch the online marketing portal, which has generated a significant uplift in dealer activity. In February 2012, Isuzu announced that the UK is now their number one market in Europe.
