Inventor of the truck, Mercedes-Benz, has more than 100 years experience of commercial vehicle engineering. Their strong portfolio of trucks, from highway tippers to premium specification artics, is unrivalled in its diversity and versatility, meaning they have exactly the right vehicle to carry out whatever job you want a truck to perform. Our challenge was to engage customers at the new Actros launch events. We needed to demonstrate attributes of the new vehicle that could not be experienced by simply looking at the truck – ‘Driving Dynamics’, ‘Comfort’ and ‘Economy’. PH developed a mobile micro site which could be accessed by QR codes. Each QR code linked to relevant pages on the site where videos, images and extra information could be viewed. The site can also be used by dealers as a sales tool.
