Rebooting the AA's mobile app

As part of our continuing digital strategy vision for the AA, we created and delivered the AA’s new mobile app. The AA previously had a 60+ app estate and were one of the biggest publishers of information in the UK with a wide range of products and services. We identified the features that customers found the most useful and consolidated the apps into one single hero app, making it the ideal driving companion. The new app provides useful information to its customers at the click of a button, improving the customer experience and providing beneficial value to its customers. 

So far the results have seen:

  • 50% increase in app registration week on week

  • +113% increase in visits due to the fuel price data tool

  • 4* rating on the app store from previous 2.5

  • +37% increase in app visits 

  • 3x award nominations
