Bringing a 200 year old business back to life

Client: London Stock Exchange Group
Brand: London Stock Exchange Group

Problem

London Stock Exchange Group was lacking a common language across its international group of businesses and its offer was becoming more and more difficult to understand.

Solution

We introduced a world class brand system to to create unity across the group, it was built around six core design principles that unify the Group and capture its commitment to quality, integrity and innovation. The system gracefully accentuates the heritage and specialism of its individual component brands by reinvesting in their historic logotypes, and associating each with a distinct secondary colour.

Results

  • employee engagement has greatly improved with significant increases in understanding the Groups strategy and values
  • the Group's economic performance has seen strong growth across all its main business areas
  • the Group has been able to transform its market position in America by securing the £1.6bn acquisition of Frank Russell Company, the single largest deal it has ever made in its 215 year history
