Problem

At its best, cinema is truly immersive and transformative, it takes you somewhere else. How could we help ODEON deliver this magic with a truly distinctive and relevant brand experience, extending across every moment of the customer journey? 

Solution

To differentiate the ODEON brand, we created a new visual identity, building on the brand's signature blue and iconic 'O' with sensual, emotive imagery and dramatic landscapes. We extended the colour palette to add warmth and drama, introducing gradients for increased depth and richness. We also developed a new, more ownable digital-first typeface - a must in today's multichannel world. ODEON's new pre-showreel is a major touchstone for the new identity. We envisioned the signature 'O' as a portal, transporting viewers from the everyday world to the magic of the cinema experience. The warm, lively voiceover and imaginative visuals combine for a truly distinctive feel.
