Insight

The May Fair Hotel is connected with the people and events that make London special. Not a ‘world apart’ like a number of the established 5 star hotels pride themselves as being, but very much at the centre of all that’s going on. The May Fair Hotel offers a contemporary luxury; an engaging, inspiring and energising environment where people meet and relationships are forged.

Emotion

Using fashion and art inspired by Salvador Dali as a creative influence, the theme for the campaign, ‘Be where it’s happening’, provided a focus for the growing number of events now centred at The May Fair Hotel. Each creative piece featured a pair of striking eyes in the midst of what was happening. The styling and execution was well beyond what might be expected of the sector and helped reinforce why The May Fair Hotel was at the forefront of change – not a mere bystander.

Success

Established as a serious alternative to ‘traditional’ 5 star hotels in London. In 2009 / 2010 The May Fair Hotel was the preferred choice for celebrity events and interviews. Now the largest revenue earner in the Radisson Edwardian group.
