CLIENT CHALLENGE
Technology can be a blessing and a curse for new car owners as research tells us that as cars get more sophisticated, fewer and fewer drivers feel confident in their basic car maintenance skills - a serious problem if they get into trouble on the road. So Peugeot challenged us to create a product that would give customers added value and simultaneously reinforce their reputation for technical innovation.
CAPTIVATING THINKING
We researched both the most common and the most important challenges drivers face and developed a set of Top Tips videos giving Peugeot owners a working knowledge of how to take care of their new car, e.g. how to check their tyre pressure.
Then, using Aurasma technology, we created a product that allowed drivers to access each tip, wherever they are, simply by scanning the relevant part of the car with their smartphone as a means of selecting the right video content – a neat way to make Peugeot useful and helpful for customers and to build brand love.
