A founding partner of Studio Output with limitless belief in the word ‘yes’, Ian has dedicated the past 13 years to showing our clients the future.

He graduated with a Communications degree from Nottingham Trent University, then ran a small promotions agency, before setting up Studio Output with Rob & Dan. Ian’s responsibilities include strategic planning, growth, marketing and sales.

In 2007 Ian set up Glug, a networking and talks event for the creative industry. Now in its eighth year, Glug regularly attracts crowds of more than 600 in London, and runs in 13 cities across seven countries – all of which sell out in days.

Championing the importance of the creative industries to the UK economy, Ian’s mission is to bring good design into mainstream consciousness. He’s a founding member of the Marketing Technology Association (MTA), one of 2016’s BIMA 100, and in 2013 he sat on the UK Government’s ‘Richard Review of Apprenticeships’.

Ian regularly speaks at events and workshops, and his opinion pieces have been featured by Design Week, Marketing, Little Black Book and It’s Nice That.
