Piers built the planning department at The Gate drawing on over twenty-five years’ multinational experience to encourage the agency’s integration of strategy and media channel planning. 

He is an accomplished, results focused and award winning strategist. Before The Gate he worked on many Unilever brands, Johnson’s Baby, Compaq computers and the global launch of PwC, based in London and Paris.

At The Gate, he has led the brand strategy for Scottish Widows, the
development of the Investec zebra, the repositioning of the Royal British Legion and the communications strategy for Close Brothers Group.
