The third Albion Dinner of the year is back in Edinburgh with Mel Young, President and co-Founder of the Homeless World Cup.
Mel previously worked as a journalist, co-founding The Big Issue in Scotland in 1993 and was the former President of INSP (International Network of Street Papers).
In 2003 Mel co-founded the Homeless World Cup, changing the lives of homeless people using football as the catalyst. Now, the Homeless World Cup Foundation works with and supports a network of 73 international partner organisations who come together annually to showcase their work to the world and give their people an opportunity to demonstrate how football has the power to change lives.
Mel is also the author of Goal: The story of the Homeless World Cup.
