Ed began his career at Saatchi & Saatchi in 1995 working across Hewlett Packard, Kodak Professional and Guinness Africa. In 1999, his love of all things sport led him to Leagas Delaney and the global adidas account. After 2 years playing ‘jumpers for goalposts’ with the likes of Beckham and Zidane (no joke), Ed was approached by the partners to help set up a new agency, Malcolm Moore Deakin Blayze. After leading the team to the high profile European MTV account win, Ed made the decision to take his learnings from both large and small agency and apply them to setting up The Minimart with Tim Clyde in July 2003.
