Head of Planning
Dan is responsible for understanding the consumer and how to engage them.
He has worked client and agency side, building up a wide and unique blend of advertising experience, from data, direct, digital and communications strategy through to content and creative planning.
Dan started his career in the then exotic world of magazines with the UK’s largest publisher, IPC Media, responsible for data strategy across 70 consumer titles including Loaded, TV Times, NME and Marie Claire.
He then worked at Claydon Heeley as a Data Planner, leading accounts which included Egg, 3 Mobile and ING Direct, developing targeting and communications strategies including acquisition, retention and CRM campaigns for both offline and digital channels.
He joined Weapon 7 in May 2008. Embracing the challenge to diversify, Dan has worked hard to broaden both his and Weapon7’s planning offering and leads a diverse strategy team.
Significantly, Dan has two claims to fame that set him apart from your average planner. He is the proud owner of a Blue Peter badge and a Guinness world record holder.
