We recently launched a campaign for BBC One which shows how, over the coming summer, the nation will be brought together through the broadcaster’s extraordinary coverage of the biggest British events in 2012.

The 90 second trail, which first aired before the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, uses a vast array of quick cuts which merge 168 separate shots from 74 different locations together to create a smooth, filmic sequence. The work also features the original Beatles’ recording of ‘All Together Now’.

The trailer sweetly highlights those little rituals we all have when preparing to watch an event with the BBC: cups of tea being brewed, biscuits being laid out, getting the whole family comfortable on the sofa, and of course finding the TV remote!

The spot aims to show the nation, that wherever we are and whoever we watch with, the BBC’s unparalleled coverage of British events allows us to all come together as one.
